James Foo & Family Fettes Park Western Food Restaurant, Fettes Road

James Foo has moved to a new building which is just a stone's throw away from it's old building.

Here's its location.

It still opens only for dinner and closes on Mondays.

This was the previous building of James Foo Western Food. It's just next to the famous Fatty Loh Chicken Rice Restaurant. This was my first visit.

Detailed location: At Fettes Road, Tanjung Bungah.

Drive along Jalan Tanjung Tokong. Until you reach a crossroad, turn left to Jalan Fettes.

Drive along Jalan Fettes. Just before the traffic light, you can James Foo Western Food on your right. It is just next to Fatty Loh Chicken Rice.

There were an antique bicycle and chairs hanging precariously above where we dined. Haha!

The food are just... hungrilicious...

Mizi Bistro, New World Park

Mizi Bistro is one of the coolest western restaurants (there are many still :P) I have ever been in Penang.

Here's the location.

This was my second visit. The food is nice and so does the environment ( old western style decoration with some music softly played in the background). That's why I went twice already. Haha!!

The set meal here is RM25.00 which includes a soup (of your choice in the menu), a drink (-ditto-) and a main dish (-ditto- e.g. fish, chicken, pasta, etc) AND also free-flow ice-creams (in buffet style).

The price has been increased due to goods and service tax by 6% to RM29.70.

*"If you choose any item from the Meat, Chef's Specialties or Smoked Salmon, you are required to add an additional RM6.00 based on the A'la Carte price."

"Our signature" mushroom soup (their signature of course) haha.. I highly recommend this one!!

Venue: 海明茶室 Kedai Kopi Hai Beng

It's located at Jalan Burma. If you are going to Jalan Burma from Jalan Jones, the shop is just on your right when you reach junction.

What surprised me most is that there was a Nasi Melayu stall just opposite this 海南卤面 stall. These stalls were in the same shop!! This is what we call 1 Malaysia!!
