Mantis Prawn 攋尿蝦 and Mee Udang @ Pulau Aman

Pulau Aman, a home to a traditional Malay village, is famous for its seafood. To get there, you will need to a catch a boat at Jeti Batu Musang in Batu Kawan. Here's the location of Jeti Batu Musang. It's RM6.00 per two-way trip. You only pay it during the return trip.

Here's the location of Jeti Batu Musang.

There, you can see Pulau Aman straight ahead.

There's the boat. It's a public holiday, so the boat will only depart when there's enough people.

And finally, we departed..

After about 45 minutes trip, we reached Pulau Aman..
What are these? I have no idea.. Perhaps they are fish farming devices...

Here comes the main dish!!

We waited for about 2 hours for the fishermen to return with their catches of the day.. And here's what they had.. besides some fishes and some very large molluscs.
We grabbed about kilogram of large mantis prawns plus a few more medium ones.. A total of RM105.00..

Sent them to the restaurant (the only restaurant there) where we ate mee udang to boil the fresh mantis prawns..

Here's a close up one. Indescribable freshness!!
