Jit Seng Hong Kong Roasted Duck Rice, Carnarvon Street

If you like roast duck, you wouldn't want to miss this one.
Jit Seng Hong Kong Roasted Duck Rice 日升香港烧鸭饭 is at the ground floor of Star Hotel, which is at the junction of Lebuh Carnarvon and Jalan Cheong Fatt Tze.
Here's its location.

As you can see, there's always a queue for Jit Seng's roast duck. This shows its popularity.

Jit Seng uses a a breed of duck called 北京鸭 (Peking Duck) which is very well known for its lean meat and popularly being used in many restaurants in Hong Kong and China. The duck supply at Jit Seng is from a duck farm in Jawi.
It is important for the farm to have a pond and a large land, so that the ducks can roam and swim freely. This can contribute to the firm texture of the duck meat.
