"The Historical Kong Bee Lee coffee shop was established at Pulau Tikus market area in Penang Island since 1919. To date, Kong Bee Lee's business has existed for over 90 years. Initially, Kong Bee Lee coffee shop used to serve local Penang Hawker Food and Beverages catering to the local neighbourhood customers. Over the years, Kong Bee Lee developed a very strong relationship with its customers resulting in a large pool of regular customers as well as new ones.
In 1997, Kong Bee Lee diversified from traditional local Penang hawker food to a specially-prepared recipe of Pan Mee(which originated from Sabah). The specialty of this Pan Mee by Kong Bee Lee is that they are skillfully prepared with special ingredients. It is also guaranteed to be without alkaline and without preservatives, thus making it healthier for our customer's consumption........."
