Old Street Taiwanese Delicacies 台湾老街风味小吃

There's a new Taiwanese delicacies cafe in town. It's the Old Street Taiwanese Delicacies at Jalan Krian. Somewhere near Ah Lam Birthday Mee and the Curry Mee at Lorong Seratus Tahun.
Here's the location.

The standing guy in the black shirt and jeans is the owner of this cafe, Desmond Teh.
He's a Penangite who studied in Taiwan and met his Taiwanese wife there.

The Menu

Opss.. Haha.. I almost forgot to snap a pic of this dish. I only remembered after the gravy and the noodle had been stirred. That's why it looks like a mess. Haha..
They were hand-made noodles. Definitely a must-try.

Steamed Sandwich 刈包 RM7.80
This is made of fried egg, stewed pork belly, prickles and a very generous sprinkle of peanut powder, all sandwiched between a oriental bun. From the picture, you can see that it's been sliced into two. It's an "eastern sandwich" :p
