When I first saw the banner stating that the first Wong Kok will be opening in Penang, I was confused. If this is the first branch in Penang, the ones at Queensbay, Gurney Plaza and Prangin Mall are not?
And yes, there are not. The ones at Queensbay, Gurney Plaza and Prangin Mall are Wong Kok Kitchen 香港旺角小厨. This one at Gurney Paragon is Wong Kok Char Chan Teng 旺角茶餐厅 and the ambassador is Roger Kwok 郭晋安 (Hong Kong actor).
