Oden おでん@ Shunka Yatai Ryori 旬香屋台料理

Updated Sept 2, 2014: It's been closed down.
Shunka Restaurant Group launched Shunka Kiosk Concept called as Oden in Japanese. It is a Japanese traditional style kiosk, usually located in shopping mall, airport, MRT and so on. This concept has been started in Japan, Taiwan and China. This Kiosk at 1st Avenue Mall is the first Oden concept in Malaysia; Shunka Yatai Ryori.
Here's the location.

Oden is a Japanese winter dish consisting of several ingredients such as boiled eggs, daikon radish, konnyaku, and processed fish cakes stewed in a light, soy-flavoured dashi broth. Ingredients vary according to region and between each househld. Karashi (Japanese mustard) is often used a condiment.

Beverages

All of these cost RM29.50
It's quite pricey for a bowl of noodle..

The noodle and all the Oden ingredients were inside this paper bowl with double lid .

The double lid was actually a container to separate the noodle from the soup.

The ingredients are all inside the soup.

Korean Carbonated Milk RM5.90
It didn't have the smell of lactose. It's very suitable for those who dislike milk.

Macha Coffee
